Freda Yong

Freda Yong is an experienced Executive Coach and Senior Advisor at Tangram Advisory, bringing nearly 20 years of leadership experience across human resources, organisational strategy, and corporate transformation. Her coaching draws on deep practical experience, having served in senior HR leadership roles across industries and advised organisations on leadership, talent, and transformation.

Prior to Tangram, Freda held leadership positions including Head of People Development & Learning at L’Oréal, Head of People at Qra, and Head of Human Resources at AmGeneral Insurance Berhad, where she led strategic HR initiatives and leadership development programs. She also brings consulting experience from Accenture, where she worked on talent and organisation transformation and supply chain change programs for global clients.

Freda’s coaching approach combines business acumen, organisational insight, and a human-centred mindset, helping leaders build the self-awareness, adaptability, and strategic capability required to lead in today’s dynamic and evolving environment.
